New Muralist Chosen for Black Cat Alley

The East Side BID and Black Cat Alley are happy to announce that Ruben Alcantar has been chosen as the artist to paint a new mural in Black Cat Alley this fall!

The BID issued a call for artists in summer 2023 and a panel of seven jurists chose Ruben out of an applicant pool of over 100 artists. Ruben will begin work on his mural on September 5th.
