This work pictures a group of animals of different species walking forward. Animals are powerful beings that come from different latitudes, which symbolizes the meeting of and diversity in the same land and at the same time a new beginning towards a better future. It is a work that represents optimism and the strength of the union of different points of view.


Catalina Bayona is an emerging artist from Colombia based in the city of Milwaukee. Creating images of both the natural world and human beings, she explores different techniques, inviting us to see the human condition and nature in different ways. She is a professional in plastic arts with an emphasis on two-dimensional processes and three-dimensional graduated from the University Corporation School of Arts and Letters Bogotá in 2015. In 2016, she became an expert in the direction and production of film in Video and Television European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO).
